Products installed: James Harde fiber cement siding in Light Mist, Simonton 600 series vinyl replacement windows, Seamless Aluminum Gutters, Aluminum Leaf Guards.
We met the Nordstoms at the Shriner’s home show in Wilmington, MA. They first noticed the Simonton window we had installed in our home show display. Mrs. Nordstrom’s brother had recent had Simonton windows installed in his home and had highly recommended the product. He had also recommended the James Hardie fiber cement siding. When the Nordstroms found out we were also a James Hardie preferred installer, they knew they wanted us to help with their North Andover home.
The windows that the builder had installed were difficult to operate and were not insulating well. The customers knew they were losing energy. The vinyl siding that was installed when the house was built had become brittle and frequently needed repairs. We completed full frame removal of all the windows, installed new insulation around the windows and installed new Simonton Brickmould 600 series new construction windows with Energy Star compliant low-e coating and Argon gas. The windows featured convenient, but stylish colonial grilles between the glass. We then removed the tired vinyl siding and replaced it with James Hardie fiber cement lap siding in Light Mist.
Services provided were as agreed. The quality of the products and experienced workmanship added up to an excellent finished product. The time needed to complete the job was reasonably in line with the promises of the contractor. All in all, this large undertaking ended up very well.
This was a very large and multi-faceted job and in the end turned out very well. The products used were high quality and the installation was done with great expertise.
