James Hardie Elite Preferred

James Hardie has two levels of certification: Preferred and Elite Preferred.

In New England, a contractor must complete at least 12 Hardie installations a year for Preferred status and at least 18 per year for Elite Preferred status.

Fewer than 3% of roofers qualify for GAF’s Master Elite distinction. To be eligible, a roofer must have a 99% customer satisfaction rating, at least an “A” with the Better Business Bureau, be in excellent financial standing, and more.

EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm

Federal law mandates that remodelers must follow specific practices when renovating homes with painted surfaces that were built prior to 1978. Companies that are EPA lead-certified have taken special training to become proficient at remodeling methods that prevent lead contamination.
