We’re The Central MA Exterior Contractor Who Always Has Their Ducks In A Row

At Solid State Construction, We Show Up To Every Roofing, Siding, And Exterior Job FULLY Prepared

Being prepared isn’t just for the Boy Scouts.  It’s an important part of doing ANY job right, but for exterior home remodeling, preparation is EVERYTHING.  Before one of our siding or roofing crews sets foot on your Central MA property, we will have already obtained the materials necessary as well as a detailed plan of action.

Why is this SO important?

Because no exterior construction project can come together without planning, a qualified crew, and the right materials and equipment; it’s why so many exterior contractors fail to keep their promises.

It’s also why we make a point of having all of our ducks in a row before we quote you a price or give you a time-frame on a project.

Here’s how we do that:

We Only Send Experienced, Dependable Installation Crews

First and foremost, any successful Central MA siding installation or roofing project comes down to the people performing the work.  If you have an experienced team of motivated, organized individuals, half the battle is already won.

Because we work with a variety of different materials, we have multiple different crews with different fortes.  Best of all, we even have our own Installation Inspector & Trainer (ITT), a former James Hardie man, one of our favorite manufacturers.

By the time a crew is assigned to work on YOUR home, they are trained, informed about the project, and ready to get it done ASAP. And the stellar leadership of our project managers make sure everyone stays on task, and EVERYTHING stays on the right track.

We Are ALWAYS On Top Of Our Inventory

There was once a time when you could be pretty certain about what materials you could get.  That time is LONG gone, and it is more critical than ever that your contractor is on top of their inventory.  Prices, availability, and selection have all become volatile.

What does that mean for you as a homeowner?

It means that you should take it with a grain of salt when a contractor quotes you a price or promises something is available without actually checking.

Even if the color of siding you want was available a month ago, it doesn’t mean it will be available today. And as for price, it could have gone up between 5-15% in a month, depending on what type of material it is made up of.

How do we stay ahead of the supply chain curve?

One way we do this is by sticking with our tried and true manufacturers, like James Hardie and Vicwest True Nature Metal Roofing. Another advantage we have is that we’re not small, and we’ve been in business since 2006.

This means the relationships we have with our manufacturers are well-established. It also means we’ve already weathered one recession, and we’re confident we can do it again if we have to.

The other big thing we do that sets us apart is we don’t provide a quote or an estimate on a project without knowing FOR SURE that the supplies are ready to go.

This saves you the frustration of waiting around for the perfect siding, roofing, or decking material only to find out it’s actually unavailable for the coming MONTHS.

When you work with Solid State, we make a point of delivering EXACTLY what we promised, which brings us to our final point about being prepared….

We Don’t Make Promises We Can’t Keep

It’s easy to find a contractor that SAYS they can provide exactly what you need under budget and on schedule, but it’s a whole lot harder to find one that can actually do it.

When we make a plan to build you a new deck, replace your siding or windows, or install a new GAF roof on your home, it’s based on experience and facts.

We’re not just telling you what you want to hear, only to dash your hopes after we’ve collected a deposit, the way some contractors do.

We’re here to help you get the best, smoothest exterior remodeling experience, not to mention a finished product that looks EXACTLY like you picture it.
